I was just curious as to what safety precautions you all take in protecting your sites from being hacked. Do you have any suggestions for efficient programs I should look into? Much appreciated, all.

what exactly are you concerned about? admin CP being compromised? other vB dir protection or non-vb related security?

Yeah, pretty much just overall non-vB related security. I've just started in the webmastering field, so there's a good chance that I'm completely oblivious to some measure of security that may save my site.
